Quantity pricing
The price per roll falls as the quantity rises. A tier applies from its quantity upward until the next one begins, so a quantity between two tiers is charged at the lower tier’s rate. Order value is the goods cost at that tier’s own starting quantity, excluding freight. Your quantity is highlighted as you change it above.

About this product
Clear polyethylene bubble wrap on a 12 in × 175 ft roll with small 3/16 in (5 mm) bubbles — the standard cushioning for wrapping items before they go in a box. Each roll holds 175 square feet of film and weighs about 1.4 kg (3 lb). Rolls are supplied in bundles of four.
The minimum order is 48 rolls, which is 12 bundles, and the price falls at 100, 250 and 500 rolls. A 24 in wide roll is also available for larger or irregular items.
Choosing a bubble size
Small 3/16 in bubble is the general-purpose choice: it wraps tightly round small and medium items, folds neatly around corners and stays flat on a packing bench. Large bubble (1/2 in) cushions heavy items better but wraps awkwardly round small ones, and it is quoted on request. For most ecommerce products the small bubble is the right one, and our guide on bubble wrap sizes and types sets out the choice.
Where it sits in the packing line
Bubble wrap protects a product from knocks and scratches; it does not stop a box from being crushed, and it is not a substitute for a box that fits. Wrap the item, put it in a corrugated box that leaves about an inch of space, and fill any gap with kraft void-fill paper so nothing moves. Plastic-free alternatives such as honeycomb paper wrap do the same wrapping job in paper.
How it ships
Bubble wrap is bulky for its weight, so freight is a larger part of the delivered cost than the roll price suggests. Freight is always quoted separately: tell us the delivery address and the quantity and we quote it before you pay.
What this line is not
We make no claim about a recycled-content figure, an anti-static grade or flame retardance for this line. It is standard clear polyethylene bubble film. If you need a specific grade, ask with your enquiry.

Frequently asked questions
Which bubble size should I buy?
Small 3/16 in bubble suits most products: it wraps tightly round small and medium items and folds around corners. Large 1/2 in bubble is for heavy or bulky items that need more cushion, and it is quoted on request.
How much does one roll cover?
A 12 in × 175 ft roll is 175 square feet of film. Wrapping a small item typically takes 12 to 24 in of length, so one roll wraps roughly 90 to 175 items, and a 24 in wide roll wraps larger items or twice as many small ones. Work your own figure out from the item you wrap most.
Is 48 rolls really the minimum?
Yes. Every product has a minimum order worth at least $500, and for bubble wrap that is 48 rolls, which is 12 bundles of four and comes to $552.00. If you wrap fewer than about 500 items a month, 48 rolls is more than a year of supply, and we would rather say so.
Is bubble wrap enough on its own to protect a parcel?
No. It absorbs knocks and scratches but not crushing. Pair it with a box that fits and void fill so the item cannot move, and see our guide on choosing packaging for fragile products.
Do you supply large-bubble, anti-static or recycled bubble wrap?
Not as stocked lines. Send the type, size and quantity through the quote request form and we will price it.
Is there a paper alternative?
Yes. Honeycomb paper wrap does the same job in paper and is recyclable with cardboard in most kerbside streams. It is on our site as a separate product.
