This describes exactly what this website does with your information. It is short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Pack Merchants is responsible for the information collected through this website. For any question about your information, email sales@packmerchants.com.

What we collect, and why

Your order history	So you can reorder and download invoices from your account

A session cookie	To keep your cart and your sign-in working. The site cannot function without it.
Which pages and products are viewed	To understand which products and pages are useful. Stored on our own server, not sent to a third party.

What we do not collect

• We never receive card numbers. There is no card form on this site and no card processor connected to it.
• We do not collect information about you from data brokers or other outside sources.
• We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the past twelve months.

Who else sees it

Only the businesses that help us deliver your order, and only what they need:

• Our hosting provider, which runs the server this site sits on.
• Our email provider, which delivers order confirmations and quote responses.
• Carriers and suppliers, who need the delivery address to get goods to you.
• Our accountant, and any authority we are legally required to tell, for tax and record-keeping.

We do not give your information to anyone else.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email to people who have opted in, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately and permanently.

Order confirmations, payment details, delivery notices and quote responses are not marketing — they are sent because you asked us to do something, and you receive them even if you have opted out of marketing.

How long we keep it

• Orders and invoices: seven years, because tax record-keeping requires it.
• Quote and custom packaging requests: twenty-four months, then deleted.
• Files you upload with a quote request: twenty-four months, then deleted.
• Account details: until you ask us to delete them.
• Marketing consent records: for as long as you are subscribed, plus a record of the unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you,
• give you a copy of it,
• correct anything that is wrong,
• delete it, where we are not required to keep it for tax purposes.

Email sales@packmerchants.com and we will respond within the period the law requires. We will not charge you for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Cookies

We set one essential cookie, which keeps your cart and your sign-in working. It is not used for advertising and it does not follow you to other sites.

If analytics or advertising tools are ever connected to this site, they will only load where consent is required and given, and this page will be updated to name them before that happens.

Keeping it safe

Connections to this site are encrypted. Passwords are stored using a one-way scrambling method, so nobody — including us — can read them. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders.

Children

This is a trade supply site for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information about children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and change the date below. For a significant change affecting how we use information you have already given us, we will email you.
